My Story

Hi, I’m Patrina Carter.

I’ve had a life long passion for cats, having been owned by cats all my life. This has led me to volunteering regularly at a local animal shelter for homeless cats and dogs and kick starting a local cat rescue.

My volunteering experience and kick starting a rescue made me realise I needed to learn more, so I completed training and have successfully completed Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services. My studies let me obtain valuable experience within veterinary clinics.

Located just outside Penrith, I established Carters’ Moggie Minders in January 2019, as I’ve discovered there’s a need for a cat-specific minding service in the Nepean area. My years of fostering and rehoming cats resulted in me having a cattery set-up in my home.

I’m loving the opportunity of turning my passion for cats into a local business.
